HELP FIGHT HUNGER IN ADAIR COUNTY

Need is currently outpacing donations at our local pantries. You can help lighten the load and support the vital work our pantries do to help fight hunger in our community.

From September 23rd through October 14th, we'll be collecting donations of food at locations throughout the community. Donations will be distributed to the Salvation Army Food Pantry and the Pantry for Adair County, both partner agencies of The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.

Community members can drop food donations off at collections barrels located at:

• Adair County Public Library
  
• City Hall

HUNGER HEROES CHALLENGE

Businesses, service clubs, and other civic organizations can opt to participate in the Hunger Heroes Challenge.

Whichever organization or business collects the most food will win the Hunger Hero Trophy!

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed to:

• Staff the collection event at local stores on Sept. 23rd
  
• Pick up donations throughout the drive and deliver them to the pantries
  
• Support the pantries in sorting and stocking the donations
